The concept car of the year.
And I don't care what you think about it.
Yes Mr. Wayne, your new car is here.

There can be only one.

For some reason everyone cared very little about this car. If Lamborghini were to let journalists drive it, it would've been unbelievably popular. It's awesome!

Can you imagine being a worker at the Lambo factory? You spend all day putting together Gallardos, the occasional Aventador, and some of the low-production special models. Maybe you're the guy that does final upholstery fitting and stuff, maybe lining up all the exhaust tips with the rear grilles and keeping taillight wiring clipped to the retainers.... You've seen it all.
Then you are asked to do this thing, and as you go about your tasks, you just can't stop laughing.

It's not even on their website , I think we are contemporary with a myth.

Clearly this car doesn't exist.

And I declare it the greatest thing that happened as a result of a massive cocaine overdose.

You forgot the top view, the view from which the car makes the most sense:
Also, in the side view, that little yellow light just behind the front wheel? That's an eye of a charging bull. You can make out its horn, torso, and front legs.
Overall I think this car suffered from ideas/ abstract concepts taking priority over physical beauty and coherence.

Originality is beautiful.

That's right up there with the Veneno as among the ugliest cars Lamborghini has ever made. It's as if Pontiac had been resurrected and given an unlimited budget.
I don't blame them for removing it from their website. I'd be ashamed too if people knew I made that.

The Urus is a much bigger mess, and like I said, originality is beautiful.

I don't think so. The Concept Car of the Year title definitely belongs to the Elmiraj.
As a concept car, the Egoista serves no purpose. It's a childish exercise in excess with zero attention to aesthetics or to future direction of the company. Cadillac Elmiraj though, is a representation of what the brand strives for, and is also a preview for the upcoming design language as well as a possible future model, which, of course are the very reasons why a company releases a concept car in the first place.

Sometimes.
Not always.

That doesn't look very original.

So, in many ways, the Elmiraj is just like the Egoista.
i.e. it will never be built and is merely an extreme exercise in their design languages.

So why does the Aventador J have a Hot Wheels rendition but not this?

Excuse me but doesn't Lamborghini as a company strive for childish exercises in excess with zero attention to aesthetics? The Egoista seems like a perfect concept of their future direction to me.
I am not a Lamborghini fan for these reasons, but I love the Egoista, for these very same reasons. I mean, orange glass??? It's a toy!

What's that car? I like it!
